All five #UConn starters in double digits for second straight game, just second time that's happened in NCAA tournament

Bird, Cash, Jones, Taurasi and Williams all scored in double digits in 2002 tourney in consecutive games for #UConn
I don't know if the current starting 5 is as good as that legendary group, but by the time they are done, I expect all of them to be 2-time AAs. Stewie, of course, will be a 3-timer.

Geno didn't like how the last play was run after his timeout. Seems like a player(s) were not where they were supposed to be or run the play he drew up.
Yes, he calls timeout, sets up the play and then they throw it away. Wouldn't make me happy either.

Hahahahaha. That was a wild look at Geno! He has always had nice hair...though that picture had just a bit too much of it. But, I remember the late 70's...most of the guys had big hair then.
I even had hair then.

KML is playing filthy tonight: I can't recall the last time I saw her so aggressive, attacking the hoop and really crashing the boards. Her "inner Maya" is an "inner Shea" tonight!
A year ago. She was very aggressive in the post season and looked just like Maya.

Difference b/w us and ND? Our 5th best player (in the regular season) is capable of going off for 20 pts (on 14 shots), 10 boards, 10 assists, and 0 to. Theirs? Not so much.

Bria a very quiet 20 points; 4-6 on 3-pointers. She is shooting so confidently.

28 misses, 17 offensive rebounds. And St. Joe's got only 11 defensive rebounds. Crazy.

And she'll be on the NPOY short list next year.

Easy to overlook Bank's two strong moves towards the basket at the end.
She looks ready to contribute if needed.

Uh-oh. Don't tell Muffett...Beth just said Stewie is the best player in the country.
That has become a common theme lately. Stewie the best player and UConn the best team. No equivocations. No Sims or Chineys. No Notre Dame. Said like it is a simple statement of un-rebuttable fact.
