Kaleena had consistent shooting in both halves tonight. She made 7 of 10 3's tonight. Great Game by her. Glad the 3 point record is out of the way before the Final Four.

Yup! She deserved every one of it. And what a night for her to get hot, we needed that performance to beat a very good Dayton team,

Congrats to KML!! Boy, she picked a great night to do the deed. We needed everyone of her 3's to get space and then put the hammer down.
Well done Kaleena. You will be missed big time.

Now can you imagine what her record would be if she did not miss....what was it 12 games last season? Add in about 36 more threes and about 200 more points based on her averages

The Lewis Launch has launched Kaleena into the NCAA record book. Yay!

Any genius WNBA GM want to take a chance by passing on her in the draft? Not smart at all.

She should be the 1st draft pick. Anyone who passes is stupid. Imagine her on a team with Maya. Or DT.....

From Jim Fuller:

"During the game Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis became the NCAA Division I career leader in 3-pointers made. She needed five to move by former Kansas State star Laurie Koehn and Tennessee-Martin great Heather Butler. She ended up with seven. She also moved by Skylar Diggins, Alana Beard, Cheryl Miller and Candace Parker and into ninth place on the NCAA Division I tournament career scoring list. She also moved into sole possession of third place on the NCAA tournament 3-point list.

The players ahead of K on the tourney 3-point list: some players named Diana and Maya. She is 10 behind Maya and 12 behind Diana. With a couple more 7-10 games, she'll stand alone on that list too.

Given that she had similar 3 numbers in her sophomore and senior seasons, it seems pretty clear that she'd be on the verge of 450 right now.

The crowd was on the edge of their seats every time she got the ball. You have never disappointed us Kaleena.

Loved Coach Jabir's comments about Kaleena in his post-game press conference. I suppose he knows a thing or two about good basketball players.

Now at exactly 50% on 3s for the season. And if she gets 50 points in her last two games, she would finish as the 5th most prolific scorer in Tournament history at 405, two ahead of Griner, and behind just Holdsclaw, Moore, N. Ogwumike, and Taurasi.

Not tooting my own horn, but I said at the beginning of the season that, since she got 118 treys as a sophomore, she could get at least 115 as a senior to tie or break the record. Well, she got 118 again and will most likely break her own UConn single-season record.

Her name belongs on the Wall and fits there perfectly as of February 28. She's added to her already-considerable legacy before finishing her senior season, just as I said she would.

Look forward to her receiving some nice awards come Final Four time. She's a first-team All-American for sure. And since she was one of the Three to See, KML saw to it that we all saw her make history.
