Everyone on here knows I'm NOT a Rob Ambrose fan...here is his comment from after the game:
"Give credit to Central Connecticut," Ambrose said. "They came to play and knock off the supposed big boy, and they did just that. ... They played very, very hard, they made plays when they needed to and they did a great job. But they didn't beat us. We lost. And there's a big difference. We didn't get our butts beat. We lost. We made too many mistakes to win."
Not a bad quote at all.

Maybe Towson lost a lot of players from their run tothe 1AA final? Or maybe Central has better personnel and coaching than the past?
Certainly better coached than Dracula and Blue last yr for us.

God, Bryant best Stony Brook. If we don't hang 50 (alright 35) on SB there will be rioting

Looks like Central's coach wasnt treating their long shot opener like a dress rehearsal...

Elsewhere, our old friend Michael Nebrich went a pedestrian 11 of 26 for 188 yards and 3 TD's as Joe Moorhead's Fordham Rams crushed St Francis (PA) 52 to 23.

They are primed for another run this year.
