I agree. Of course it was not a particularly difficult game to do. I think criticism of Picozzi on these parts is way overdone. He is a very good PBP broadcaster, but doing as many UConn games as he does forces him to repeat himself a lot. But he also does a lot of other games and he is always well prepared and does a first class job. IMO the only other WCBB PBP person in his class is Beth Mowins. Meghan does OK as the analyst. She is obviously a UConn partisan and insider and she does not pretend to be an equal opportunity analyst so she opens herself up to criticism, and a lot of that criticism is overdone as well IMO.
i agree with this 100%. i really like his voice and he's great on other games. maybe that he's done so many UCONN games makes fans tired of him, but i like him a lot. i wonder why Meghan doesn't do more games - other teams, etc. is it her choice to only do UCONN games, or is she not sought after by other networks?
