Wow! Wiily Yahn has officially entered the left side of the infield sweepstakes. With Hill and Connor Buckley not taking the starting job by storm, I'm guessing Penders will give him another look in the starting lineup sometime this weekend. It's good to see the freshmen Yahn and Montgomerie doing some positive things in their first starts.

Does anyone know what the plans are for Brown and Napiarsky this year? Are they injured. I believe both have used their redshirts already.

I think Chris Jones said Brown was warming up earlier in the game.

Up next, the Huskies visit South Orange, N.J. for the Strike Out Cancer Classic hosted by former Big East rival Seton Hall. UConn will play Fordham and Seton Hall in the tournament, currently scheduled for a pair of games on Friday, March 20 and another on Saturday, March 21.
