you want your mascot to scare kids? Ok, go with an exact replica. Does the current Jonathan look anything like the old logo? NO. Kids like lap dogs, im guessing why the new one looks like a cute version of the actual logo.

Consistency!!!!! Make the new mascot Blue & White and tell everyone that Real Jonathan is the only National Flag Blue Husky.

Google "husky dog mascot costume" and the first image that comes up will look awfully familiar.

A message to UConn: I realize that things like mascot costumes are not a top priority. They do not have a dedicated line item in the budget. But, as one of the two University symbols most likely to appear on television, please spring the extra few thousand dollars on a custom dog costume that doesn't look like it was ripped off the animatronic banjo player at the local Chuck E. Cheese.

Call the red sox or phillies and ask who made their mascot heads. Don't buy it from some chinese web site. Quality matters in all things.
