As UConn's women quest for their record-breaking 9th WCBB title, there is another marker they and the men can shoot for, a 12th or 13th NC by the women and men together. UConn and UCLA are tied at the top with 11, and Kentucky is third with 8. Of course only Huskies get contributions from both sides, and UConn has by far the best chance of adding to the collection this year.
Of the schools who have had both the men and women win titles, UConn leads with 11, followed by UNC with 6, Stanford with 3, and Maryland with 2.
So 11 dogs pulling the Husky sled, and maybe one or two more to be added. Mush! Mush!
