"One of the tallest players who will be selected Thursday in the N.B.A. draft is Andre Drummond. A 7-foot center, Drummond is also one of the most intriguing prospects

"Drummond, 18, was the youngest of the 12 projected lottery picks who gathered at a Manhattan hotel for interviews Wednesday. In many ways, he is the most unproven of the group. Some draft analysts say the true ceiling of Drummond’s potential is unknown — maybe even higher than anyone else’s in the class. Drummond entered the hotel with a wide grin, one that signified he was ready to hear his name called at the Prudential Center...

"Drummond said he expected to be selected anywhere from second — behind Kentucky forward Anthony Davis — to No. 7...."

Great article. Spot on. Andre is unproven but hasn't even begun to scratch his potential. He easily has the highest ceiling of anyone in the draft. I hope he develops a little bit of a mean streak and starts dominating like he can.

if it ever all comes together for AD the pistons will become a force in the east. he has the talent to be the next great center the nba will see. this guy can someday be a 25-12 a night player easily. the problem is he could end up being kwame brown.

Drummond can pass. He and Greg Monroe could be a good pairing going forward.

If your the Pistons, the 9 spot was perfect. If it doesn't work out, you know you needed to pick him, and if it does, you got an all-star in the late lottery.
