to Geno for not running up the score. (See the article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.) "Auriemma is a class act."

Not the first time he's been acknowledged for that, either.

    So did Geno

From the post game presser - "We could have been like Notre Dame, come out here and run the score up and try to score 120 and shoot 3s the whole game," Auriemma said, alluding to Notre Dame's 120-44 win over Pitt on Jan. 17.

    Getting into Muffet's head?

Let me say this is not good. I dont know whats going on. I do know that in last seasons FF Stef was called for 2 fouls that never happened forceing her to the bench. From that point forward UConn was being called for fouls they were questionable and ND wasnt. We lost. Now this season at ND we had the lead and all of a sudden no calls on ND and questionable calls on UConn and ND tied the game and won it in ot. Yeah I think there is a problem. We have heard Geno mention numberous times ND fouls on every play and dosnt get called. Gotta wonder. LOL Makes me think of the good ole days at another school when the fouls were 40-10 or the clock stopped, or top players fouled out one after another. Here we go again. I do see a message being sent but dont know if it was recieved yet. Monday night is going to be Hell

Agnus is not the embedding type. Here's what she had to say about the ND game from the same article (ouch!):

She said Auriemma is a class act and an educator first, and that was the difference because the Panthers only were outscored, 38-27, in the second half. It enabled Berenato to teach her team -- which has no juniors or seniors -- some things and work on specific situations.

"The Notre Dame game was someone's opportunity to show what embarrassing another team was all about and it served absolutely no purpose for us," Berenato said. "[Wednesday's] game served a purpose. We were able to work on some things and we were able to have some success and those are some teaching moments for us as educators.
