''Believe it or not, we had our best practice with (UConn) yesterday afternoon,'' he said. ''So maybe it did get me refocused, recharged. You're stepping away from it a little bit. I think it makes me appreciate what we have here. It's pretty special and not something I take for granted.''

This is good news. I'm sure the UConn team was impressed by Team USA. They may have gotten recharged too. Watching Maya and Catch work, Sue being efficient and in control, and Diana doing the unthinkable sounds like a lot of fun. And one of their own--Stewie--was holding her own.

'My knees are stiff, my back hurts. I'm not used to standing for six hours - two practices a day..." Jeez, doesn't he spend 6 hrs washing dishes at his restaurant every evening?

He washes dishes at Geno’s Fast Break, cleans tables at Geno’s Food Court, tends bar at Geno’s Pub, bakes at Geno’s Bagels and & Subs, and prepares vegies at Wok-On by Geno’s.
