Could of been a lot worse, Boat was great, Facey and Hamilton were pretty good, we are just not a very deep team and unless we win the American, i expect an NIT bid.

I know that Florida has disappointed but those would be 2 quality wins and could make 2 buzzer beaters in the first few games far less important on our tourney resume. Please don't deem our season doomed yet. It is still a very young season.

Duke is not deep either, more talented yes. Game was there for taking though if anyone besides Boat could hit a shot over 5 feet.

As far as NIT...let's play Fla, Stanford, Cincy, SMU, Memphis, etc, before we throw in the towel. If only the NIT calls after that I would let the phone ring and not return the call.

And many would have been happy to get to a sweet 16 last year after ending the regular season. This is just December now. Give the team a chance to gel, and the other pieces to improve. If several improvements are made, and Boat gets some help - they will run thru the AAC tournament for the guaranteed NCAA bid. And anything can happen then.
