Was just looking at results year by year for Uconn and thought this was pretty interesting:

1. Uconn has not lost a game by double digits since 2/27/2012 when they lost to ND by 13. Previous to that it was LSU in the elite eight game in 2007 - also the last 20+ point loss.

2. Since the 1999-2000 season - 16+ years Uconn has lost 10 games by double digits and only 2 by 20+ points. In only two years in that stretch did they lose more than once by double digits - 2001 and 2005 (the only year they had 4 such losses. They only have 6 years in which they lost by double digits to any opponent.

3. Including the 2000 season Uconn has lost 19 games OOC in 16+ seasons. Since the start of the 2007-8 season (8+ years) Uconn has lost 5 OOC games - twice to Baylor and three times to Stanford - they have not lost a game to the ACC, Big10 or SEC or to any non-P5 non-conference opponent.

2000 - 1 loss to TN by 1 point
2001 - 3 losses by 16 (ND), 4 (TN) and 15 (ND-FF)
2002 - 0
2003 - 1 loss by 4 points (Nova - BE)
2004 - 4 losses by 1 (Duke), 15 (ND), 3 (Nova), and 3 (BC-BE)
2005 - 8 losses by 6 (UNC), 11 (ASU), 16 (MSU), 1 (TN), 6 (ND), 14 (RU), 3 (BC), 17 (Stan-S16)
2006 - 5 losses by 23 (UNC), 9 (TN), 4 (RU), 6 (RU), 2OT (Duke-E8)
2007 - 4 losses by 6 (TN), 6 (UNC), 8 (RU), 23 (LSU-E8)
2008 - 2 losses by 2 (RU), 9 (Stan - FF)
2009 - 0
2010 - 0
2011 - 2 losses 12 (Stan), 9 (ND-FF)
2012 - 5 losses 5 (Bay), 7OT (ND), 1 (StJ), 13 (ND), 8OT (ND-FF)
2013 - 4 losses 1 (ND), 6 (Bay), 9OT, 2 (ND-BE)

I'm not finished digesting your post but I caught the above remark because I recently mentioned in a post that Uconn had lost to Notre Dame @ the XL Center on 2/27/2012 by 20, 59-79. I didn't recall that game but I, like you, run numbers and noted that [UConn] doesn't often lose badly. But I saw that score and then reposted it. Of course, after reading your post, I checked my source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011–12_Connecticut_Huskies_women's_basketball_team, and 59-79 is there but you and the media guide don't agree. It's 59-72, by 13. I'll do the edit there soon if it's still there.

For me, close games were more difficult to discard from one's memory; Tons of second guessing.

As a comparison in the same time frame:
Baylor had two straight years with no double digit defeats - 2012 and 2013 but 2011 and 2014 they lost one game at least by 10+
ND has only accomplished a single season without a double digit defeat since the 1999-2000 season - their 2001 championship year.

Haven't checked TN and Duke which may have pretty good results in the first half of the period.
