#66??? Man some people are absolutely nuts. Based on the roster, the quality schedule and KO at the helm, this is a top 20 team

I couldn't even read his whole article because #66 is too ridiculous. I feel like if you're answering the questions about who our newcomers are and looking at our experienced roster - heavy with talented seniors and juniors - you HAVE to come to the conclusion we're much better than that. Not saying we need to be ranked top 20 right now, everyone has their opinions, but how about top 30 at least!?

The 66 is really bad, but FIFTH in the AAC? I know we haven't blown the doors off this conference, but fifth?!

I've never heard of this site before, but that is such a strange writeup for a team they project to be #66 overall, #5 in the AAC and an NIT team:
  • "With a great recruiting class and a big name transfer, Coach Kevin Ollie has the weapons to be a very dangerous team on the national landscape."
  • "There are only four eligible newcomers this year, but all four are very, very good."
  • "With Brimah manning the paint, Hamilton hitting the glass and Purvis providing much of the scoring punch, Connecticut has all the weapons they need to be a major threat."
  • [In reference to the depth] "With that kind of versatility and talent, Connecticut will be a tough team in the AAC."

Pffft.

I'm kinda curious as to where College Sports Madness ranks on the list of creditable news outlets...
Just checked, unranked.
