I like that Kentucky guards are 6'6" against our smallish guards with quick hands. We'll lose a little on the boards but we will gain much more with turnovers. Boatright will be huge Monday.

That article was bunk

On ball pressure high. UK without a true pg and turnover prone. Don't let them set up deep and allow easy entry into the post. Uconn will have to turn the ball over to win this one. Samuel and Kromah will be important in this one given UKs size.

Brimah and Nolan need to do their best to stay out of foul trouble. What we give up in bulk down low we make up in length if those two are in. Brimah needs to avoid the 2-3 really dumb body/reach in fouls per game. All his fouls should be going straight up and guarding the rim and throwing off UKs front court. They can't get comfortable in the blocks.

All hands in deck on the glass.

Push transition and move away from a straight half court game.

Absolutely...BOX OUT!
They have 14 inches of height and 206 lbs. of weight advantage among the starters & their game plan will be to hammer us inside. Toughness! Defense! Rebounding! Execution and drive the ball on offense! Let's GOOOOOOOO!

UK needed a few breaks to beat a couple Big 10 also-rans. UConn best the best of that conference fair-and-square. Then they squashed the overall 1 seed like a bug. We should be favored.
