The kid's got some solid ball handling skills, and if we are to believe the mix tape is representative in total, a super sweet outside shot. She also has decent moves in the post. Hard to tell a TON as she was probably playing against kids who are smaller and less talented. I'd love to see her on a good AAU team and see how she performs there. Still, glad we got her.

Even if she "only" ends up a MacLaren type of player, it's a good addition to the team. I think her upside is Sara Hammond. But Irwin already has a better 3 point shot.

Good body control and movement, nice shot, decent speed, if not great. Seems to be fundamentally sound. I like what I see.

I put this vid in the pinned thread at the top of the page. Not sure if everyone realizes the thread is active.

Good hands, good feet, and good body control. And her shot appears to be quite nice form and surprisingly quick in release - doesn't need to gather herself just rises into it smoothly.
Really hard to judge these players that are not playing in the big tournaments but she looks like a solid prospect.

Anyone know if she plays for a competitive AAU team? Would be curious to see how she does against better competition...

First thing I noticed was the consistancy of her shot, whether a short one or a three. Multi-facited offensive game lends itself well to UCONN's style of play.

She moves her feet on defense, not flat footed.

Easy to see why Geno & company offered her.
