People probably look at his height and weight, and might pass, but watching him run with tacklers slipping of him, he has a very powerful lower body. And he runs between the tackles well. Not much to nitpick with Cooper.

I would love to get Cooper too. There's no defense for elite speed.

TOS has an article up about Lincoln Prep WR Jamiek Davis (seen him listed as 6-3 185, 6-3 190 and 6-4 205).

"Recruiting is good," said Davis. "I'm getting attention from UConn, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Missouri, N.C. State, Temple, Boston College and Tennessee. Hopefully after I take my SAT's and qualify, I can pull my first offer from UConn or Syracuse."

Impression after Junior Day - "It went great," said Davis. "I loved the school's facilities, campus, food and learning about their academic opportunities. I'm looking to major in communications and minor in performing arts and media."

    Recruiter is Coach Wholley

Like the way he catches the ball with his hands away from his body...

@CNee247: #UConn has offered Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange 3-star WR Garrett Johnson

5-9 160 lb out of Winter Garden Florida (West Orange HS)

Other offers from Arizona, BCU, GT, KY, Marshall, USF and Northwestern

Johnson caught 58 passes for 1014 yards and 11 touchdowns his sophomore year and added 49 receptions for 685 yards and seven scores his junior year. He also rushed 21 times for 194 yards and two scores. Johnson's production numbers may have gone down because he played both wide receiver and corner for the Warriors in 2012.

Johnson was clocked at 4.7 in the 40 at the UnderArmour Underclassmen combine held in St. Petersburg, Fla. He plays for the 'Top Recruits' team from Orlando in the 7-on-7 competition.

Absolute stud. People have this kid way way to low in New England. Still haven't seen all the top backs, but of the ones I have seen, Cooper is the best back. That speed is legitimate, his cutting ability is top notch, and his vision is ridiculous. Get this kid to Storrs ASAP!

    Really fast:

"Harold Cooper, Hillhouse track: Junior won the 55-meter dash in 6.42 seconds at the New England championship meet. His time is currently the eighth fastest in the nation."

It would seem to me that in the 2014 class we will need to bring in a Punter, as Cole Wagner and his backup Chad Christen will both be 5th year seniors in 2013. Not sure if walk-on Justin Wain is the real thing or not, if he is then maybe they don’t have to bring in a Punter... Any thoughts on this anyone??
