I'm also an SDSU grad so I watch them frequently. Ledee played well against us in the final last year. He is elite at drawing fouls so DC will need to be careful. But if DC is on the floor, I think Ledee will struggle as DC can be very effective at challenging his mid-range and at the hoop...
Great toughness to overcome. Ice cold whole first half. Zebras allowing blatant holding on every offensive curl and calling whisper soft shizzle on us.
Survive and advance.
Great to see Stewie growing up
DC picks up a lot of fouls by the opponent running into him when he is vertical. That call is never made against Edey. He is also allowed to clear out with his arms extended…huge advantage
Naheim was en fuego yesterday, 5/5, 3/3 from 3. Jenkins has played well all year and Dingle has been solid the last 7 games.
No way UConn allows 91 points though.
But protect the mojo, we are doomed, clearly DOOMED!
always tough to beat a team three times. McKnight tore it up in the second half yesterday.
protect the MOJO!
fight the hubris...we are doomed, clearly DOOMED!
They played us tough at UConn. We need to exorcise the demons from late year at their place and keep up the momentum but we are doomed, clearly DOOMED!
Tough, physical team, they are playing very well of late as Adrian mentioned. Hopefully, they are mentally over the funk from last game.
I would be very happy to see us stay healthy and squeak out a win.
Big East refs tend to strongly favor more muscular players in getting the foul calls, so we...
Edey frequently has his arms out and doesn’t swing it into the defender but moves them out of the way by moving his body. IMO should be called a foul but never is
Tough matchup! We will really have to be strong with the ball and keep the turnover numbers down. Kolek and Mitchell are savants at swiping the ball. Hopefully, Clingan can dominate like he did at Marquette last year, but we are doomed, clearly DOOMED!
