Awwwww. Looks like a block letter is here to stay. Let us all rant on about block letters.
The white husky logo is antiquated from a sociological point of view. UConn and Nike were ahead of trends.
Basic marketing to make the football program look classic big time. I didn't think there's a need to keep tooting "Block C" by Edsall or whomever. Just have it there and leave it alone. Create a culture around winning, not a block letter.
Maybe we should use a pull sled logo to appease those...
They've tried, but sadly, many coaches are con artists. All of the coaches we've had so far during the FBS era have egos that outsize the state. They know their pay rate defies logic.
It's people being emotionally weak. Can't handle pain; over a stupid game, of all things.
These people should clamor for a quidditch or bowling program. Or a fully "inclusive" women's track and field program.
The funny thing about how some dimwitted UConn fans react to adversity in football alone proves the stereotypes about some modern Connecticut residents. Softer than a feather.
Everything that's happened that went wrong has to do with coaching and administration. Temple and Navy are proof.
Edsall became WAY too self absorbed. "I don't give a crap what anyone says!"
Well, look at where Oklahoma State is at right now. Going to be a tough battle for those Pac-12 expansion slots and they've been refused as of recently. Had their shot back when the 4 Big 12 teams were talking to the Pac-12.

The Big 12 is an end goal conference. Just about every school in the conference has already been informed other conferences are not...
The Big Ten is still intent on expanding east. They'd probably have to go for UNC and UVA to get to 16, to offset the SEC's additions of Texas and Oklahoma. As of now, there's no other schools the Big Ten could add that would help it hold ground against the SEC. If the Big Ten goes to 18...
The Big 12 is essentially a "flyover" version of the ACC that expands 2000 miles. And has Mormons and Protestants as opposed to Catholics.
They'd be stupid to not add Memphis and Boise State right now.
Why are we discussing D1 football? Let's talk about reigniting our rivalries with Wesleyan and Trinity. And also hire Connecticut College's soccer coach. Can't wait to play Coast Guard along the Thames.
You do realize that media controls the narrative and not message boards?
Apart from UConn dropping it's football program. Only UConn fans can come up with that idea.
