She was the MVP of the Stanford camp as a freshman and has said that Stanford is her dream school. If Tara gives her the application, I think that's it for her. I wouldn't count out an Ivy, either.
Having known TSO since her high school coaching days at Westchester High (and she went from a two year high school stint straight to UCLA with no other experience), I'm not her biggest fan but these recruiting classes she keeps helping to land are very impressive.
I doubt we'll see her as head...
Irony, yes, but I also felt the three high schools was a red flag. NC didn't recruit her that hard at UCLA because it was felt she might not be strong enough academically.
If she does leave LSU, I hope she can find a coaching staff that can provide her with what she needs because I think...

They include Marion Jones. Sigh.
Billie Jean King? Battle of the Sexes was 1973 and it was a huge moment in womens' sports.
I say no to FloJo as her records are still mired in controversy.
Allow me some indulgence but I'd consider Roller Derby Queen Joanie Weston somewhere in the Top 100. Okay, no one knows her and no one...
I'd go #1 with Nadia Comaneci. She performed moves that were previously only known to men's gymnastics, did them with greater technical perfection than we'd ever seen and rendered the scoring system obsolete. If you compare her contemporaries' routines with hers, it was a genuine revolution...
Geno was also at the Michael T. White tournament to see McCall and that's where Lockwood saw Canada last weekend. Duke has become an increasingly popular choice for African American girls from California. I think some of it had to do with their former assistant Trisha Stafford Odom. Although she...
#21 Erica Johnson also left this season. They now have no outside shooters and Cal will have no freshman class of 2012 because no one was recruited.
When Gottleib took over at UCSB, many of the remaining players didn't like her. Significantly, with one exception, Underwood, her entire first...
Michael Cooper has had tremendously talented teams during his tenure at USC but they always underachieve. He's been hindered by injuries to his team but so was his predecessor Mark Trakh. There's a lot that Michael Cooper does well but the ins and outs of daily administration and handling a...
Because of academics, if Stanford offers her, she's likely there. She was MVP of their camp two years ago and no one believed she was just entering high school. Duke would be the only other contender at this time, but of course, things change as you get closer to LOI.
