This beyond horrible. No words —
Phee and everyone who was even a little bit close to him must be utterly devastated. Geno too. Just everyone.
RIP Kobe
cant believe i just typed those words
The 2010 NC game was not representative of anything but the 2010 NC game. It certainly did not represent the usual Old School UCONN Wbb of the time, the usual result, or the style of play (at least in the first half). That team and it’s season was one of the best ever and IIRC the most dominant...
Naomi was on top of her game and very relaxed against Coco last time ...Coco will need to see something closer to what Naomi showed yesterday in order to have a fighting chance. Also Coco could maybe benefit from a few less double faults
Coco plays 29-year-old Sorana Cirstea of Romania in tonight’s second round match at the Australian Open. Cirstea is currently ranked #74 (Coco is #67).
Guessing that the match may be carried live on the Tennis Channel, but if not, at least it looks like ESPN3 will have it.

She’s already had high level experience on the CDN national team and will have more this...
OK - but then she’d never see the floor until garbage time.
She gets minutes because despite her not knowing where to be much of the time she still has contributions to make. Its a balancing act for GA.
I agree that she looked overwhelmed at times but at other times she mixed it up pretty well...
On Tennis Channel ----
Coco Gauff's second round match in the Auckland Open begins momentarily. This is a warmup for the Australian Open.
Serena Williams' match is scheduled next.
