I am so glad that our freshmen are getting so much playing time. This is something that I’ve always disliked about Geno’s coaching over the past 7-8 years specifically. I started to think our freshmen were underdeveloped due to lack of playing time compared to other programs.
Was so happy to see UCONN play amazing defense which (as always) leads to our offense clicking.
Paige….WOW!! So glad she’s back.
Our freshmen played so well. I hope this is their “ah ha” moment. But they are freshmen and it’s early. I won’t hold my breath

I was extremely frustrated watching the game. Despite it being the second game of the season, you have to consider all the players who came back, the capability of each player and the coaching staff we have at UCONN...
I agree. I am not impressed by LSU at all. They have a very weak schedule and not convinced on anyone on the roster outside of Reese. And I think SC (Beal) neutralizes her and their athletic bigs.
I’ll be shocked this isn’t a blow out by SC. But, we’ll see.
I would love to see Amari get more playing time to help her develop.
I often wonder if she is that bad in practice or her efforts for him to not give her playing time.
Have to admit I was not overcome with joy when I heard the news. I thought it was a mistake taking her and not sure if she would really help us out and just sit on the bench.
I looked back at some highlights of her vs Texas and Indiana. I am impressed. Clutch shot and a smart player.
I do...
Thank you for posting this. I think Christyn got us going in the 1st quarter then Fudd blended in during the 1st leading into the 2nd quarter. Paige missed some shots during this time period. In the end, Paige put on a performance to remember but these 3 guards got it done!
I was lucky to sit near Megan. She was vocal and cheering on the Huskies the entire game. I loved her energy and how much she tried to get everyone around her into the game.
Made me think of some of the negative comments I have read about her on here over the years. I'm a big fan of her and...
I would love to see Nika develop her game into learning to drive the ball more towards the hoop (versus hanging outside the arc). She is super quick on her first step and I see her drawing a lot of fouls.
Regardless of seeding not putting UCONN in Bridgeport would be one of the stupidest moves the committee has ever made.
The tourney is all about attendance. The NCAA cares about the revenue from these locations. Locations aren’t picked because they have the best parking lots?! It’s the potential...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, I cannot imagine how "easy' it is to be on the air calling games. I wonder how those making negative comments would do in her place?
Until then I will just sit back and appreciate the coverage.
